Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask

Klairs always come up with gentle effective for people with all skin type. This time, they have a sleeping mask that can also be used as a gel-type moisturizer. I first saw it on their Instagram. They were showing the “shape memory cream” texture. It basically means no matter how we dig the cream, it will smooth out as it was before. I will show you later in this post.

I was using their vitamin C serum and when I heard this cream can enhance the effects of vitamin C, I told myself that I have to try it. I am lucky enough to get this product for free from Wishtrend. I can’t wait to show you my before-after comparison picture and my thoughts about this new product.

Let’s start with the basic information for this product.

It is a pudding or jelly-like texture, but when I spread it out, it is like any kind of gel-type moisturizer. It is like pudding or jelly melt on the skin. You can also see the hole I dug go back to a smooth surface.  It has a very little floral scent, but it is like no scent for me.

I only use this product on the left side of my face because I think it is easier to see the difference. I use this every night after my regular night routine as a sleeping mask. I have tried it for a good full month now, and here is the result.

(Most Left Picture: The side that used the product. Most Right Picture: The side didn’t use the product.)

I took this picture after I took a shower so my face looks red. In terms of the redness, pigmentation, and pores size, I don’t see any difference. I cannot see any difference in fine lines and skin texture either. The only difference I can see is my pimples. I have few pimples on my right face but nothing on my left face. You can see few pimples on my right cheek and outer side of my front head. If looking at each side alone, I think my right face looks more tired than my left face. But again, I cannot see any major difference.

I think my skin is moist and soft on the side I use this product. I also surprised to see it can help eliminate pimples. It is such a huge plus for me. I think as long as I don’t get more pimples, my scars and pigmentation will slowly go aways and leave me smooth flawless skin like how my skin looks with makeup or filter.

Honestly, I am slightly disappointed with this product overall. When I check out their claims, it only does firming effect and improves acne. I don’t see any brightening effect or wrinkle/fine line improvement, but these are their main claims. I know some people see an amazing result with this product, but for some reason, this product just doesn’t work for me in terms of brightening and wrinkle/fine line improvement. Maybe my original skincare routine is on the top of the game so nothing can make it better? Well, at least I am happy that it helps eliminate breakouts. Will I purchase it? For brightening and wrinkle improvement? No. For eliminating breakouts? Yes!

I would recommend this product to teenagers since most of them suffer from acne and don’t know how to take care their skin. I am little regret that I didn’t take care my skin and start anti-aging early enough. This is affordable for them too. $27 USD for 90ml is a fair price since most moisturizer only has 50ml. We just need a very little amount of product so 90ml can last for a super long time. I use mine for a month and haven’t finished 1/4 yet. I think this product is good for everyone if you are not going for the brightening and wrinkle/fine line improvement. The texture is great. It really moisturizes and lifts my skin. It doesn’t have fragrance and gentle enough for my sensitive skin. It can mix with other skincare products so perfect for people who like to DIY their skincare product too.

  1. Dear Klair’s is one of the brands I want to like, but don’t always like. I tired their freshly juiced serum, but found it didn’t do anything. I like their oil cleanser though! I’m currently liking maracuja oil or passion flower oil. It’s early days but I think it’s helping with some wrinkles!

    1. I feel the same. Some works for me, some don’t. So far, I still cannot like their blue sunscreen. All products from them are so so. Nothing surprising. I am going to post reviews for the juiced serum and their blue drop serum. The blue drop serum is doing a great job. I like it so far.

      1. I’m looking forward to your remove on the blue drop serum! I’m also using at the moment their Supple Preparation All Over Lotion as a day cream and cushion compact. So far I’m liking them. Though I’d like it if they produced more cushion compact shades. Merry Mochi’s a little on the pale side, but I like the coverage 🙂

        1. Haha I will try to finish my draft.
I like mixing the all over lotion to serum or other cream. It is a good product, and it is not expensive. I wish I could get it when I was a teen. XD
I never tried their cushion. I think it is too heavy for my skin since I tried their BB cream, and I believe their cushion is using almost same formula with the BB cream.

          1. I’ll try mixing the lotion with serum. Thank you for that idea!
I prefer their cushion. It’s more lightweight than the BB cream, not so pale and gives a nice glow!

    1. Aww I am glad I help your decision. I am like half miss and half hit for Klairs products. This is in between. I saw it is on sale on wishtrend (For $18). If it is on sale, it is not bad to get this big jar. I like it overall.

  2. The reviews for this are all over the place! Some people it works for and others it does not! But I guess skincare is so subjective! I am curious to try this product now just because it helped your skin with acne! 🙊

    1. I think most people agree that it helps acne but I am not sure if they have results as good as mine. I think it is a good season to try them since it is getting dryer and colder. Extra or thicker layer won’t feel too much during these seasons.

  3. I didn’t expect this product to be good for acne after I read the claims. But as it didn’t do much over all it kinda sucks that you pay money and believe in products and it doesn’t do much. I have problems with finding products that will help acne on my chin. xx

    1. It is one of the reason that I won’t pay the full price to buy this product. So far, I don’t have any product that works like this for my acne. But what’s the point to claim something it doesn’t do? And it is not just me. I just read some reviews that they don’t see any improvement for their pigmentation either. I thought brightening is mean lighten pigmentation. Am I wrong? Is it mean to give glow to our skin only? If so, it does brighten my skin.
Haha, anyway. I will continue to finish it, and maybe I will see the improvement later.

      1. Pigmentation is something that it really hard to get rid off. I don’t think any cream can get rid of it completely, but what is stupid is that they claim most crazy things and never deliver. xx

        1. I was using natural tamaru oil as a spot treatment and it is helping! I just need to stop using that because of testing these products with such a big claims. I am going back to it and will give updates. I think Tamaru oil can clear newer pigmentation at least. My mom is testing it on her old dark spot too. If it really lighten pigmentation, I will just mix it with other cream to make a winter night cream. It will be amazing.

            1. It takes time but it is working slowly for me. In fact, new acne or scar get fade within a week for me. It is natural too. I think I got mine on amazon for $8 or less.
