Testing & Review:

On their instruction, they said we need a brush to get the full coverage, but I never use a brush to apply my other base makeup so I just use my fingers and cheap sponge ($1.5 a bag from Daiso) that I normally would use.

The foundation has a watery lotion consistency. It has the lightest consistency among my other base products. I got the shade 1N2 Vanille. I am glad it matches my skin color. It does a very good job of covering my redness and evening my skin tone. It has a light to medium coverage. Actually, if it really is the medium to full coverage, the Etude House Real Powder Cushion is full coverage, and the Dodo cat cushion is medium to full coverage too. This foundation cannot cover my acne scars.

The foundation has a pump so it is very easy and clean to get the product. When I apply it, I feel it is bit dryer compare to bb cream or foundation that has a cream consistency. I personally wish it can be more moisturize and bit concern for people who have dry skin.

(both pictures have the foundation and setting powder)

The setting powder helps the look more matte and provides little more coverage to the skin. I like this over the Utena Kogaoh CC Face Powder since this is more natural. I also like the foundation doesn’t make my skin look cakey or unnatural. I guess it is because I pick my perfect shade.

It is very pretty under natural sunlight and makes me looks like having flawless skin. I think it is a good foundation for outdoor activity. Just make sure you apply sunscreen before apply foundation.

I wear it over 9 hours and it didn’t melt or be really cakey. You can see my natural shine is coming out and the lower half of my face is little cakey and lose coverage. It still remains its 80% after my 9 hours wear. I think 15 hours is exaggerated but 12 hours is possible (with the setting powder). My sensitive combination skin doesn’t react to it, but it is a bit dry for my skin. I need to make sure my pre-makeup skincare is really good. The good thing about this dryness is it is hard to melt, unlike most bb cream/cushion.

I am not sure if it is good for fall and winter. I don’t want my skin dry out and wrinkly. XD  I would say it is for summer and people with oily skin. I wonder how this works for people with dry skin.

Overall, I think it is a decent foundation. It has medium coverage and even skin tone well. It has 20 shades so it is easier to find the perfect shade. It is lightweight and gives a natural matte finish. Considering the price and amount of product, I won’t buy one for myself unless they are on sale. I personally like more moist type, and I think I can find a better foundation at the same price. It will be better if it is lightweight, long-lasting, and hydrating. By the way, I love the setting powder! It is natural, almost feel nothing, no fragrance, and set well. I will use this setting powder more and see if it is just my imagination. XD If I still like it, you may see it again in my future posts.

I am satisfied with my testing experience. If you are interested in reviewing and trying some beauty products, please check out Influenster. I got these by answering some surveys and got some luck. XD  Anyway, I hope my post helps you a bit and have a nice day!

Have you tried any Laura Mercier products?
