No one can resist cute package. At least I can’t. XD I love all cute things. As long as it is affordable, I would add them to my collection. Although I moved several times and threw away some of them, nothing can stop me collecting these adorable cuties.
The one I want to introduce is Utena Kogaoh CC Face Powder. I found this super cute goodie from Instagram and bought from Yestyle (HERE) while it was on sale. I got the glossy pink. They also have another natural ochre color which is the one in the following picture. Natural ochre looks like a practical color and seems easy to use, but I love the pink package too much so I got the glossy pink. XD
Ko.Ga.Oh means small face in Japanese. This face powder claims to give a natural 3D effect and help our face look smaller. It also has SPF 27 PA+++ to help protect our skin from UV ray. It is a thin steel container with these nude pink and cute kitty print. The size is little smaller than a hand. I think it would be good for teens since we all have smaller hands back then. This size makes it more adorable.
It is a twisted lid so it is well secured. Inside has a cute little fluffy sponge applicator. It is soft and easy to get the powder. The product doesn’t have any scent which I really appreciate. The color of the powder is a little bit on the pastel purple side. When I try it on the back of my hand, I didn’t see any color. After I put some more, I see it makes my skin brighter and pale. Since I saw Japanese makeup loves pale skin, I don’t really surprise. I used it all over my face the first time using it, and I am doing it wrong.
I thought it is a regular face powder that helps our makeup settle better. After I tried it, I think it is more like a natural highlighter. In the pictures, my skin looks pale but has a pink tone in it so I think it is because of the powder. After I checked out some pictures, I realized I was supposed to use this face powder like a highlighter. I need to avoid the outer side of my face and put some on my cheek bone and nose. I think the natural ochre will give a warmer highlight which I think is more natural.
Talc, mica, titanium oxide, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, PTFE, dimethicone, synthetic phlogopite, (dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, ultramarine blue, alumina, stearic acid Mg, jojoba seed oil, squalane, hyaluronic acid Na, Aphanothece sacrum polysaccharide , aloe vera leaf extract, Guriserizu isostearic acid, diisostearyl malic acid, ethyl hexane acid cetyl, hydrogenphosphite dimethicone, tocopherol, hydroxide Al, hydrogenated palm kernel oil, methicone, palm oil, hexa (hydroxystearic acid / stearic acid / rosin acid) dipentaerythrityl, isostearic acid hydrogenated castor oil, (hydrogenated rosin / diisostearate) glyceryl, methyl paraben, iron oxide, tin oxide
Overall, I think without the cute package, it just does an ok job with its price. (It costs $16 USD when not sale on Yesstyle) But, with the package, it does an awesome job! I am blinded in front of cute things. XD But honestly, I need to try more different face powders so I know what is good and bad. I think I will try another one after I finish this can. This can just so cute <3 I will use it to store my rings. I am so tempted to get the natural ochre but I want to try other brands. Let’s see if I am going to find another cute package.
Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoy and wish you have a wonderful day <3 What face powder you usually use? And what is the main thing make you think it is an awesome face powder?
